"Be not deceived, evil communication corrupts good manners." 1 Corin. 15:33
Our success or failure in life can be traced to the kind of relationships we have or keep at one point or the other in our lives. Eighty percent of our success or joy in life is centered around our relationships and vice versa.
Who do you confide in? Who is your best friend?
Psalm 1:1 tells us some class of people we should not walk with if we want to succeed in life:
1) the ungodly
2) the sinner
3) the scornful
If you keep the wrong relationship and associate with them, you will suffer the same consequence with them because they will make you compromise and end up the wrong way
"She is clothed in fine linen and purple ... she is clothed with strength and dignity." Pro. 31:22, 25
Someone said - the way you dress will determine the way you are addressed.
This is true.
What you wear tell as much about you as what you tell people about yourself. In fact, you don't need to open your mouth - your clothes say it for you.
If you're always in micro mini or wear tops that reveal your cleavage and stuff, that tells people that your body is not for you alone, anybody especially the opposite sex can see it.
If you dress shabbily, you are saying that you really don't care how you look.
But how does God want us to dress?
"He made garments of skin for Adam and his wife Eve and clothed them." Gen. 3:21
Take note of the word - clothed.
You are supposed to be properly clothed. But if you expose parts that should be clothed then you are going against the word of God. And He is not pleased.
To be contd

----------
Thank You Father that I am a heritage and a reward from You. You knew me before I was formed in the womb. You created me for signs and wonders on the earth. Your thoughts and plans for me are blessed because they are plans of good and not of evil, to give me the expected end.
No weapon formed against me shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against me in judgement I condemn in Jesus name. Only the counsel of God concerning my life shall stand. Wrong association and evil communication shall not prevail in my life in Jesus name because I hunger and thirst after righteousness. Greater is He who lives in me than he who lives in the world.
No sickness can prosper against me because I have been redeemed from the curse of the law and by Your stripes I am healed. I have an excellent spirit and the wisdom of God is at work in my heart ...
The Incomparable Teen(previous message)
------------------------------
To be incomparable means
to be unique,
to be rare,
to be different,
to surpass,
to be in a class of your own, etc
And so, an incomparable teen is unique, you are in a class of your own, you are rare, you are different from others in a positive way, and you surpass them all like the virtuous woman in Prov 31.
As an incomparable teen, you carry the nature of God. You are like your God just as the Bible says - ye are gods! The greatest thing in your life is to please God and not people. You don't follow others to commit sin.
You are loving, peaceful, good, gentle, kind, faithful, patient, self controlled, God controlled, prayerful, ......
What will people say about you?

"What do you think of yourself?"
For as a man thinks in his heart, so is he ...Prov 23:7
The above opening scripture is one of the fundamental truths of the Bible. From this scripture, we can deduce that our thoughts make or mar us. It is not what happens around us that is the issue but waht is happening inside of us. Your success or defeat in life is not a function of what you have or do not have but what you think of yourself, who you are from within, who you see or perceive yourself to be.
Beloved, what do you think of yourself? Do you see yourself successful, favored and blessed or do you see yourself as a failure and good for nothing? Remember, you are what you see or think yourself to be. People can have their own perception of you and based on that, they might put you down, tell you that you are not good enough, you can't do anything well or you can't amount to anything. But you've got to knowwho you are so that you can have the right perception of yourself...
Believe God's words concerning you that you are blessed, special and beautiful. ..
Renew your mind with God's words ... because if you can see it in your heart and believe it, you will surely achieve it! (Mk9:23)
